During the trip you will visit, Lumbini Birthplace of Buddha; Bodhgaya, the place where Buddha attained enlightenment; Sarnath, the place where Buddha first taught the Dharma and Sangha came into existence; and Kushinagar, where Buddha attained Parinirvana or nirvana-after-death.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal
Day 2: Morning Yoga and Meditation, Visit Swayambhu Nath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Buddhist Temples and Shrines in Patan
Day 3: Morning Yoga and Meditation, Visit Namo Buddha Monastery, Lunch in Dhulikhel, Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Squire
Day 4: Early Morning Flight to Bhairawa – Drive to Lumbini, Nepal the birthplace of Buddha, and visit Mayadevi Temple, Asoka Pillar, Myanmar Golden Temple, World Peace Pagoda, China Temple, Lumbini Museum, etc. Evening Meditation in Lumbini
Day 5: Drive to Varanasi, India – approx. 5-6 hrs, Check in to the hotel, participate in the Evening Prayer / Aarati Show in Ganges River
Day 6: Early morning drive to Sarnath, the place where Buddha first taught the Dharma after enlightened, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence. Evening meditation
Day 7: Drive to Bodhgaya, India, where Buddha attained enlightenment. Rest and Evening Meditation
Day 8: Drive to Kushinagar, where Buddha attained Parinirvana after his death.
Day 9: Early morning drive from Kushinagar to Bhairawa, Nepal and take the flight back to Kathmandu – evening flight
Day 10: Final Departure from Nepal
